Food Service

Dishwasher
The Dishwasher at Cedar Lake Ministries is responsible for knowing / following proper sanitation standards, cleaning and sanitizing dishes used in dining hall / kitchen, keeping cleaned dishes organized and put away properly, bussing tables in the dining hall during mealtimes, refilling milk, soda & juice machines, garbage removal & cardboard recycling, maintaining water softener salt. Dishwasher position also includes cleaning the cooking areas and dining hall, vacuuming, wiping down tables, cleaning windows, and following bathroom cleaning procedures. Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs and fulfill other duties as assigned.

Prep Cook
The Food Prep at Cedar Lake Ministries is responsible for knowing / following proper sanitation standards, making and maintaining the salad bar & preparing condiments. During meals, the Food Prep is responsible for putting food on hot / cold lines, switching out food pans and maintaining / wiping down food & beverage lines. After meals, the Prep Cook cleans, sanitizes & vacuums the dining hall. Applicant must be able to lift 30 lbs and fulfill other duties as assigned.
