About Spring Ladies Retreat
2025 Theme
Speaker: Jennifer Shaw
A former professor, Jennifer holds a Masters Degree in Music Performance from the Manhattan School of Music as well as a Masters Degree in Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary. As a young woman and a new Christian, she experienced an intense period of loss and grief, causing her to grapple with the question of whether her new faith was enough in the face of despair. As she poured over Scripture, she discovered that God was true to every one of His promises which was life–changing. She made a worship album of self–penned songs for her terminally ill father, shifting her career dramatically. That album’s quick radio success caused her to consider for the first time if God might have more significant plans for her life than secular entertainment.
Jennifer is both an adoptive and a special needs parent, which has refined her faith and convinced her that God is absolutely trustworthy, no matter the circumstances. This message of hope is universal. Jennifer’s engaging and approachable style causes people to deeply consider how God wants to both meet them where they are and inspire them to transform the world around them.

Worship Leader Weekend 2: Darby Bell-Adcock
Darby released her first album in 2018 as Darby O. Bell and continues to write, record and lead worship with her husband, Malachi James, as Darby and Malachi. Both have a passion to make Jesus’ name known through their music.
Darby serves as a local worship leader at her church, BBC of Starke County, where she serves alongside her husband, Malachi James, who serves as teacher, and worship leader as well as serving alongside her father-in-law who has been the lead pastor there for 20 years. She partners with multiple churches, friends and ministries as a guest worship leader and serves as cohost for the “Churched” podcast as well as her local church’s podcast with her father-in-law.

Retreat Rates Based on Housing
Private – $305
Stay in your own private room with your own bathroom in either our Rest-A-While Lodge or a Private Cedars. All bedding and bath linens are provided.
Evangelism
Each room sleeps 2 Stay in one of our small Cedars units or a Rest-A-While Lodge room. All bedding & bath linens are provided in this package.
Small Group – $220
Rest-A-While Room or Small Cedars Unit (Each unit sleeps 3-4)
Your group will stay together in one of our Cedars units or a Rest-A-While Room. Rooms vary between two queen beds, one full bed and a set of bunk beds, or 4 twin beds with two being a bunk style. All bedding and bath linens are provided.
Family Style – $210
Large Cedars Unit (Each unit sleeps 5-8)
*Must have at least 5 people in your group to be offered this rate.
Your group can stay all together in one of our large Cedars units that is complete with three rooms and one full bathroom. This option also includes a full kitchen and dining area for you. All bedding and bath linens are provided.
Large Cedars units consist of rooms with one full size bed, one full size bed & one bunk bed, two twin beds, and one pull out couch.
Dorm Style – $185
Each room sleeps 4-6
Stay in one of our bunkhouses that consist of rooms with four to six twin beds in bunk style. The bathrooms are shared and consist of shower stalls and toilet stalls. You must provide your own bedding and bath linens when staying in our bunk houses.
Drive In – $155
Find your own lodging for the weekend and drive in for the activities. Cedar Lake Ministry Cottagers may receive this rate as well as guests who are staying in the RV park.
Financial Assistance
Refund Policy
All registrations must be paid in full 14 days prior to the event.
A $50.00 Non-Refundable deposit is due per registration. Any cancellations will forfeit the deposit.
Cancelling a registration(s) within 45 days of an event, you are obligated to 60% of your event fee.
Cancelling a registration(s) within 14 days of an event, you are obligated to the full event fee.
In the event that Cedar Lake Ministries is not permitted to host an event due to legal reasons or restrictions imposed through Executive Order, Local Health Department Order, or any similar legal restriction or circumstance of similar effect, Cedar Lake Ministries will retain the deposit. The deposit may be transferred toward ANY future Cedar Lake Ministries Program event or guest. Additional fees paid may be requested as a refund. In all other circumstances, Cedar Lake Ministries’ cancellation policy outlined above will apply.
