Testimonials

What Parents and Youth Leaders Are Saying About Winter Camp at Cedar Lake Ministries
“When I picked up my daughter and said ‘Tell me everything!’ I expected her to say that tubing was really awesome, or that it was really cold, or something like that. But what she actually said is ‘I learned that I need to be more purposeful in spending time alone with God.”
-Parents
“This weekend was great for all of us. We really bonded and made some great memories and I know God is at work in these kids’ lives.”
-Youth Leaders
“It was such a wonderful experience! The food, the scenery, the lodging, the fires in the fireplace were all so refreshing! I love all the windows in the buildings! My kids really took in what the speaker talked about. They really liked the speaker and I really enjoyed the band!”
-Youth Leaders

This is an opportunity to limit distractions and open up opportunities for quality conversations and time with God.

Health and Safety

Medical Conditions

We are used to working with campers who may have food allergies or other medical conditions (food intolerances, asthma, behavioral issues, diabetes, etc.). To best care for your child, please inform us on the registration form of any allergies or medical conditions so we can effectively prepare to provide great care for your child. If after reviewing your registration form we have further questions, our Program Coordinator, Food Service Director, or Health Officer may contact you prior to camp to ensure proper care will be provided.

Medical Conditions

In case of injury or emergency, the Health Officer will be available for basic care and to administer over-the-counter medications. However, the Health Officer will not administer prescription medications to campers. Youth leaders and parents should discuss each student’s health needs and plan how to oversee proper administration of prescription medications while at camp.
